Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov held a joint press conference in Sofia.

The Turkish Prime Minister said that terrorism has neither nationality nor religion. He also noted that Turkey is ready to cooperate with Bulgaria in all spheres. "Our dream is building a high-speed rail line from Istanbul to Sofia and from Sofia to Europe," Trend cited him as saying.

"Turkey has sheltered 2.5 million Syrian refugees. And we support a peaceful solution to the Syrian issue," the Bulgarian Prime Minister noted. In addition, he expressed his confidence that the relations between Russia and Turkey will be normalized soon.

Davutoglu, in his turn, said that his foreign trip to Bulgaria has a special meaning. "This visit indicates how much importance we attach to our relations. Turkish investments in Bulgaria amount to 2 billion liras. We will increase that amount to 5 billion in the near future," Davutoglu said.

He also touched on the topic of terrorism and the fight against Daesh. "Nationality and religion of terrorism have no meaning. This evil must be defeated," Davutoglu summed up.
