Merkel: development of mechanisms of allocating Ankara 3 billion euros needs to be accelerated

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, speaking at the press conference after the first day of the EU summit, expressed the need to expedite the development of mechanisms for allocating Ankara 3 billion euros to support the refugees in Turkey.

"The Turkish side stressed that it perceives the responsibility in the implementation of the action plan to address the migration crisis," TASS cited Merkel as saying.
