Syrian refugee swims to Europe in 7 hours

A Syrian refugee, Ameer Mehtr, swam for seven hours to reach the Greek island of Samos from Turkey.

Mehtr has spent several months training in Beirut. Currently he is in a Syrian refugee center in Sweden, Gazeta.ru reports with reference to the Independent.
