Iranian geologists will receive access to Azerbaijani territory

Meetings of representatives of the railways and border services of Azerbaijan and Iran are to take place in Astara on December 25th-27th as part of a bilateral protocol signed a month earlier, Azerbaijan Railways (BR) reports.

"In accordance with the protocol, experts of the parties will discuss issues of crossing the border by Iranian geologists, who are engaged in the Astarachay bridge project across the river," Abc.az reports.

For the organization of geological works on the territory of Azerbaijan, the Iranian party must provide the Azerbaijani side with the passport information of its employees who will cross the border. At the same time, the relevant bodies of Azerbaijan must ensure the entry of the Iranian experts.
