The European Union plans to establish a visa-free regime with Georgia, Ukraine and Kosovo in the second half of next year. This was stated by the ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Russia Vygaudas Usackas.

"The decision of the European Commission means that Ukraine, Kosovo and Georgia meet the requirements for a visa-free regime. The next step is the legislative process. The European Commission (EC) will formally introduce the new legislation and the EU governments and the European Parliament will have to approve it," Georgia Online cites him as saying.
