Dushanbe ratifies agreement on CIS free trade area

According to a report on the website of the CIS, today Tajikistan ratified the agreement on the free trade zone of the Commonwealth, thus becoming the last state in the union to not only sign, but also ratify the document.

The head of the Ministry of Economy of Tajikistan, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, said that the CIS will grow after the ratification of the trade agreement with other states. "The agreement on the free trade zone provides for free movement of capital and goods. The agreement also provides for the sale of goods in view of sanitary and phytosanitary requirements," the minister recalled.
