Mammadyarov: Azerbaijan’s membership of EAEU not on agenda

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan’s membership of the Eurasian Economic Union is not on the agenda now. He also noted that "no such proposal was received from the organization’s members."

He recalled that while answering such a question at a session of the UN General Assembly he used the phrase "never say never," because Azerbaijan cannot participate in an organization which envisages an economic and customs union with Armenia, which has occupied Azerbaijani lands, APA reports.
