Nazarbayev's nephew appointed first deputy head of Kazakh National Security Committee

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed a decree on the appointment of his 37-year-old nephew, Samat Abish, as the first deputy chairman of the National Security Committee. Earlier, he held the post of the deputy chairman of the Committee, ia-centr.ru reports.

Lieutenant-General Vladimir Zhumakanov was appointed the chairman of the National Security Committee yesterday. Former chairman of the National Security Committee Nurtai Abykayev was appointed a deputy of the Kazakh Senate.
