Swede arrested in Turkey for Daesh links

A Swedish citizen has been arrested in Turkey on suspicion of having links with Daesh, the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reports.

According to the newspaper, the 20-year-old man was arrested by the Turkish authorities in August while crossing the border from Syria, TASS reports.

He denies any involvement with terrorist groups, maintaining that he was trying to bring his younger brother back to Sweden.
