Russia owes 10% less than a year ago

Today, the Central Bank of Russia has published statistical data, according to which Russia's foreign debt decreased by 10.2% in 2015. Data is given for the first nine months of the year.

According to the Central Bank, on October 1st, 2015, Russia's foreign debt amounted to 538.197 billion dollars, whereas a year ago, on January 1st, 2015, it amounted to 599.041 billion dollars. Thus, for the first nine months, Russia has paid 60.844 billion dollars of debt.
