Agreement on avoidance of double taxation with Iceland enters into force in Georgia

As the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reported today, the agreement "On avoidance of double taxation on income and prevention of tax evasion", formalized between the governments of Georgia and Iceland, has entered into force.

The main purpose of the agreement is to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries and to promote investments attraction. In addition, the document envisages cooperation in tax matters and the introduction of new standards for the exchange of information, Sputnik Georgia writes.
