Putin forbids military personnel being dismissed without provision of housing

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which military personnel with a service time of over 10 years cannot be dismissed without being provided with housing or a subsidy for its purchase or construction. The decree on this was published on the website of legal information.

"A soldier whose total length of military service is 10 years or more in need of living space cannot be dismissed from military service on reaching the age limit for military service for health reasons or in connection with organizational and staffing measures without his consent and without providing him with premises or subsidies for the purchase or construction of residential premises,’’ TASS cites the text of the decree.
