Iran plans to export its natural gas to Georgia via Armenia, the Press TV channel reports with reference to the representative of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Alireza Kamali.

"According to recent talks with Georgia, we are expected to deliver our natural gas to the Armenian border and Georgia will receive it on its border with Armenia. But the project must be economically justified for Georgia," RIA Novosti cited Kamali as saying.

According to the TV channel, the gas consumption will be 300-500 million cubic meters.
