Suspected terrorist in Stavropol Territory bombing detained

The police have detained a Dagestani citizen suspected of involvement
in the terrorist attack in Stavropol Territory in late May 2010, which
killed 8 and injured 50, RIA Novosti reports, citing a spokesman for
the Investigation Committee, Vladimir Markin.

The explosive device, equal to approximately 0.5 kg of TNT, with
projectiles, was activated on May 26 near a building adjacent to the
House of Culture and Sports. The bomb was activated 15 minutes prior
to the start of the Chechen ‘Vaynakh’ dance.
