Central Bank: new wave of devaluation of the manat won’t happen

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has denied rumors about a new wave of devaluation of the manat, describing them as baseless.

"The rate of the manat is based on supply and demand on the foreign exchange market according to the new monetary policy regime. The central bank is involved in the market through the sale of foreign currency at auction,’’ Trend cites the regulator’s message.
