Obama awards Georgian servicemen killed in Afghanistan

US President Barack Obama has awarded Vasil Kuldzhanishvili, a private soldier Class I of the Georgian armed forces, a Bronze Star for bravery and special honor and selflessness during the 'Strong Support' mission.

Today, the chaplain of the IV Mechanized Brigade, Father Gabriel, held a service for the killed soldier, Georgia Online reports.

Vestnik Kavkaza reported that Vasil Kuldzhanishvili was killed in Afghanistan on September 21st 2015.
