Russia scraps trial by jury for terrorists

People charged with terrorism in Russia will no longer have the right to a trial by jury, the country’s Constitutional Court has ruled.

Cases will be heard by three judges.

The ruling does not contravene the Constitution, reports RIA Novosti.
