Foreign Ministry: Iran hasn't asked Russia's help in conflict with Saudi Arabia

Iran hasn't asked for Russia's mediation for the settlement of the conflict with Saudi Arabia, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

"We have good relations not only with Iran, but also with Saudi Arabia, although we have certain well-known differences with Riyadh regarding Syria. The two parties should make such a request in order that we could become a mediator. As far as I known, we haven't received such a request from Iran,'' RIA Novosti cites the interlocutor.
