Ilham Aliyev meets with Director for European Affairs at US National Security Council

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the Director General for European Affairs at the US National Security Council, Charles Kupchan. The sides discussed the development of the Azerbaijani-US relations.

They expressed satisfaction with the establishment of partnership relations between the two countries.

The sides noted the significance of successful activity of Azerbaijani servicemen as part of the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, as well as exchanged views over the democratic processes in the country.

Aliyev and Kupchan also discussed the regional situation and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Trend reports.
