Georgia celebrates Day of National Flag

Georgia is celebrating the Day of the State Flag today. In connection with this holiday, the country will hold many events, including in the presidential palace.

The celebration will begin in the regions of Georgia. In different cities, students will raise flags near the government office buildings, and will then gather at the presidential palace. At 15:00 they will meet with President Giorgi Margvelashvili. He will address the students with a speech, in which he will talk about the importance of national symbols.

In the evening, the Presidential Palace will host a celebratory reception, Georgia Online reports.
