21 academicians arrested for supporting terrorism in Turkey

The Turkish authorities have detained more than 20 scientists, suspecting them of supporting terrorism.

According to the Turkish newspaper Sabah, 21 academicians of the University of Kocaeli in Izmit province have been arrested.

It is known that scientists have signed a declaration condemning the military actions of the Turkish army against Kurdish militias in the south-east of the country, Trend reports.
