Azerbaijan adopts criteria for minimum subsistence living

Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev has signed a decree on the minimum
subsistence living for 2011, AzerTag reports.


Azerbaijani Cabinet was ordered to prepare proposals to have the
current laws meet the new decree within a month and report to the
president.


According to the law, the minimum subsistence living for 2011 was set
at 95 manats, 102 manats for the working population, 72 manats for
pensioners, 76 manats for children.


Another law concerns the criteria of poverty for 2011. The limit on
the poverty criterion was set at 75 manats.
