Syrian refugee wins million euros in French lottery

A 30-year-old Syrian refugee has won a million euros in the French lottery after buying a winning scratchcard in Bagnolet. 

It happened back in June, but details of the win were released by the Le Parisien newspaper on January 14th.

He has already bought an apartment and now plans to open a restaurant. He also wants to bring the rest of his family from Syria to France.
