Australia to lift sanctions against Iran

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has spoken about the country's decision to lift the sanctions against Iran.

"The Australian government will then move to lift relevant sanctions, including economic sanctions," Gazeta.ru cited her as saying.

The head of the Foreign Ministry clarified that Australia would continue to enforce sanctions against Iran on military exports for five years and maintain restrictions on ballistic missile-related material for eight years.
