Azerbaijan welcomes lifting of sanctions against Iran

Azerbaijan welcomes the implementation of Iran’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Azerbaijan supports the determination and will of the sides that were demonstrated in achieving this progress, according to the message.

"We congratulate the Iranian people and express confidence that this positive process will give impetus to further development of the mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and Iran," Trend cited the message of the ministry as saying.
