Ilham Aliyev increases salaries of doctors, teachers, scientists and Ministry of Interior employees

Today President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed several orders to increase salaries by 10% for certain categories of citizens from February 1st 2016.

The Presidential measures concerned healthcare employees, teachers, social security institutions, employees of scientific and research institutions, departments and organizations financed from the state budget, as well as employees of the Interior Ministry.

It is known that the decision to raise wages was made in order to enhance the level of social protection of the population.

The Cabinet of Ministers was entrusted to solve issues following the decree, Trend reports.
