Usupashvili pays visit to Latvia

A Georgian parliamentary delegation headed by its Speaker David Usupashvili is on an official visit to Latvia.

Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Tedo Japaridze, Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules Giorgi Kakhiani, a member of the United National Movement faction Mikheil Machavariani and a deputy from the Free Democrats Victor Dolidze also paid visits to the Baltic country together with him.

During the visit, Usupashvili is to meet with President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma and Speaker of the Latvian Seim, Inara Murnietse, as well as representatives of the local media.

The visit of the parliamentary delegation to Latvia is to come to an end on January 19th, Sputnik Georgia reports.
