Armenian president invites his Iraqi counterpart to Yerevan

The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has invited his Iraqi counterpart, Jalal Talabani, to visit Armenia, NewsArmenia reports, citing the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The invitation was made by the Armenian ambassador to Iraq, Murad Muradyam, during the ceremony of handing over credentials.

The ambassador said that the century-long presence of Armenians in Iraq, and their contribution to the development of the country are a good basis for strengthening Armenian-Iraqi relations and cooperation  in the trade, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
