Iran plans to start oil supplies to Europe in February, media report

The National Iranian Oil Company, owned by the state, has on a preliminary basis, started preparations for deliveries of at least 1 million barrels of light oil to the Mediterranean ports of the European Union in mid-February. This will be the first delivery to the EU since the moment, when last week an embargo on Iranian oil and other Western sanctions were lifted," the publication notes with reference to the sources of a number of officials in Tehran, TASS reported.
