5.4 magnitude earthquake in southern Iran

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 points was registered 83 km south-east of the Iranian city of Darab in the southern province of Fars at 23:50 local time, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports.

The epicenter of the quake was located 28 km under the surface.

There is no information about possible damage, TASS reports.
