Christine Lagarde: global economy to grow by 3.4%

The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the world economy would grow by 3.4% in 2016.

"We believe that the global economic growth in 2016 will be moderate," Gazeta.ru cited her as saying.

Lagarde explained that in 2016 the economy would grow at 3.4% and 3.6% in 2017 from 3.1% in 2015.
