Iran and Greece agree on oil supplies
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGreece's oil refiner Hellenic Petroleum and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) have signed a long-term framework agreement on the supply of Iranian oil on Friday.
According to the Greek company, the refiner will start buying oil from Iran immediately and will settle its outstanding financial issues. Hellenic Petroleum Management expressed its satisfaction with the conclusion of the agreement which, according to the company, is beneficial for both sides, RIA Novosti reports.
Iran was one of the main suppliers of oil to Greece before sanctions were imposed on Tehran in 2012.
