The head of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, is sure that the cultural blockade of the Crimean peninsula by the Ukrainian authorities will fail, because Russia has a lot of its own talent, and not all Western artists "react to their hysteria."

Italian opera and pop singer Alessandro Safina informed about the cancellation of concerts in Sevastopol and Simferopol. Later, the famous French actor Pierre Richard also declined to travel to Crimea where the play with his participation 'Pierre Richard III' was planned to be performed on February 10-11th, but it was cancelled because of pressure from the authorities of Ukraine.
