Funding for intelligence service in Turkey to be doubled

The budget of the National Intelligence Service (MIT) of Turkey for 2016 has been increased by 47%, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Lutfi Elvan said.

He noted that the budget of the MIT in 2016 will amount to 1.6 billion Turkish liras ($530 million)

Elvan added that a new building is now being built for the MIT, Trend reports.
