Fight against Daesh relying on tradition discussed in Orenburg
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe international titled 'Fight against IS: reliance on traditions and new youth initiatives' was held in Orenburg yesterday.
It was attended by the Vice-Governor of the Orenburg region, Dmitry Kulagin, the chief federal inspector in the Orenburg region, Sergey Gavrilin, representatives of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, regional imams, teachers of religious educational institutions, activists of Muslim youth organizations, specialists of the Institute of Oriental Studies and the Counter-Terrorism Center of the CIS, as well as law enforcement agencies.
The main topic of the discussion will be development of joint measures to counter the destructive ideology of the Daesh terrorist group, which is a threat to all the countries of Eurasia.
Participants of the seminar adopted a resolution on measures against the ideology of ISIS, which will be based on the traditional values, as well as various youth initiatives designed to eliminate the possibility of terrorist propaganda.
