Kant airbase to unite Russian military in Kyrgyzstan

The Kant airbase will become the basis for a unified structure, which will include all Russian military facilities in Kyrgyzstan, commander of the Central Military District (CVO) Colonel-General Vladimir Zarudnitsky reported today.

"In 2016, actions for optimization of the organizational structure will also affect the military bases of the district positioned abroad. All the Russian military facilities in Kyrgyzstan will become part of a unified structure that will be formed on the basis of the Kant airbase," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
