Turkey will not tolerate terrorism against Iraq

Turkey will not allow its territory to be used to prepare terrorist activities against neighbouring countries, especially Iraq, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Friday, Trend reports. According to Davutoglu, Iraqi officials highly appreciate this position.

Commenting on reports about the publication on the Wikileaks site of documents claiming that some forces in the USA support a Kurdish terrorist organization and that Turkey is providing some sort of assistance to the Iraqi Al-Qaeda, Davutoglu said that these reports were mere speculation with no rational seed.

According to Davutoglu, Turkey has always taken serious actions against Al-Qaeda and worked in close co-operation with the USA in the fight against terrorism.
