Peskov says contacts with oil-producing countries are essential for Russia

Russia is interested in the contacts with oil-producing countries and maintains them, because it is essential under the current conditions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"This theme is essential for the Russian economy in light of the oil market volatility," he noted, commenting on contacts between the heads of the energy ministries of Russia and Venezuela.
