Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel discuss situation in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a telephone conversation, during which they agreed to continue work in the framework of the Normandy format, including holding a meeting of foreign ministers in the nearest days.

"The conversation was business-like and constructive," the Kremlin press service said.
