Massimov and Davutoglu meet in Astana
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaPrime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu have held a meeting in Astana, at which they discussed issues of bilateral and international relations.
"We exchanged issues of bilateral relations, regional and international relations," RIA Novosti quotes Masimov as saying.
"I am very happy to see you here, on your first visit to Kazakhstan as the Prime Minister, although you have repeatedly visited Kazakhstan as the Foreign Minister and know our country well, which will undoubtedly help to improve our bilateral relations," the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan pointed out.
In his turn, Davutoglu noted that Astana is a close friend of Ankara. "For me, my second home, the home of my ancestors, is Kazakhstan. Hopefully now, as the Prime Minister, I will be able to visit my second home more often, because Kazakhstan is the geographical center of the Eurasian continent. It is a very close neighbor for us, a very close friend," the politician stated.
