Rasht-Astara railway is a priority for Iran

The Czech Republic is planning to start investing in the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway, the president of 'Iranian Railways' Purseyd Agai Mohsen stated.

He stated that the lifting of sanctions against Iran has created a great opportunity for investments. The Czech Republic can profitably invest in the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway.

According to Purseyd Agai Mohsen, who called the construction a priority for Iran, Czech Republic banks have declared their readiness to provide funds for investments.

He also noted that the purpose of construction is an extension of the Iranian railway system abroad.
