More than 1000 convicts pardoned in Iran

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei pardoned prison terms of 1059 convicts, his press service reports.

The pardon was granted at the request of the country's Judiciary Chief, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, which is celebrated in Iran today.
