First container train from China to Iran reaches Turkmenistan

The first regular container train running from China through Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to Iran has already reached the Turkmen border, overcoming 7908 km. Experts say the train will reach its final destination, Tehran, in two days, Trend reports.

According to experts, the China - Kazakhstan - Turkmenistan - Iran railway route is the shortest cargo transit link between China and markets of the Persian Gulf Region.
