Lavrov: Russian Federation expects a proposal from the US regarding a ceasefire in Syria

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia was waiting for the US response to the Russian proposal for a ceasefire in Syria. He made this statement at a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry.

"We made quite a specific proposal, and now we are looking forward to the US response to the meeting of the IGSS (International Group for Support of Syria),'' Interfax cites him as saying.
