Biden urges Davutoglu to stop shelling Syrian Kurds

US Vice President Joe Biden held a conversation with the Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, during which he called on his colleague to cease shelling the Syrian Kurds, the press service of the White House reports.

"The Vice President noted the efforts made by the United States to convince the Syrian Kurdish forces not to use the current situation to seize more territory near the Turkish border," TASS quotes him as saying.
