Iran to buy Russian T-90 tanks if Russia teaches Iran to produce them

Iran may still buy Russian tanks, the deputy commander of the Iranian Ground Forces General Kiomars Heydari said.

According to Heydari, the Islamic Republic "has not yet abandoned its intention to acquire T-90 tanks, but the ground forces have banned the acquisition of military equipment without the country receiving the production technology," Interfax reports.
