Georgia and Iran resumed a visa-free regime today, which was abolished by Tbilisi in 2013, Iran's Deputy Ambassador to Georgia Mohsen Kebriayi said.

The diplomat said that Georgia's abolition of the visa-free regime with Iran had damaged economic ties and communications between the countries.

The Deputy Ambassador stressed that the abolition of the visa-free regime had adversely affected the trade turnover between Iran and Georgia.
