Putin praises actions of Russian military personnel in Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the actions of Russian troops in Syria at a meeting in honor of Defenders of the Fatherland Day in the Kremlin.

"The military skills of our troops are now being improved in the military operation in Syria. Fighting in the Middle Eastern country, our officers and soldiers protect the interests of the Russian Federation and destroy the militants who have directly called our country the enemy and do not hide their plans to expand, including to the territory of Russia and the Commonwealth of independent States," TASS quotes him as saying.
