Assad agrees to truce that won't help terrorists

In an interview with El Pais, Syrian President Bashar Assad declared his readiness for a truce, but on the condition that it would not benefit terrorists.

"We are ready for this truce, but it's not so much a declaration of this readiness. It is important to prevent the strengthening of terrorist positions in the framework of this truce, prohibit countries, in particular Turkey, from sending weapons and providing technical and logistical support to terrorists," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
