Simferopol agrees to cooperate with one of the regions of Greece

The Simferopol Administration and the Chamber of Commerce of the Greek region of Evros signed an agreement on cooperation in the socio-economic and commercial spheres, the mayor of the city of Alexandroupolis, Evangelos Lambakis, said on the radio station ‘Russia Today’.

"The interest of our Chamber of Commerce is very serious. We could cooperate in many areas, taking into account that the city is one of the largest ports, which allows to exchange goods in circumvention of the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus. Alexandroupolis is becoming an energy link through which about three oil pipelines run and one gas liquefaction plant is located there. Our region is one of the largest producers of wind power.
